Animal SOS Sri Lanka relies on the generosity of donors like you to rescue, rehabilitate, and care for animals in need. Every donation, no matter how small, plays a critical role in the survival of animals who have suffered abuse, neglect, or abandonment.
Without your support, many of these animals would have nowhere to turn. Your donation ensures they have the chance to heal, find shelter, and receive care.
We gratefully accept donations via Direct Debit, payroll giving, legacies, unwanted shares, and Gift Aid. By setting up a Gift Aid declaration, you can increase your donation by 25% -at no extra cost to you!

What is Gift Aid?
Gift Aid is a UK tax scheme that allows Animal SOS Sri Lanka to reclaim 25% of your donation from HMRC. This means that for every £10 donation, we receive an additional £2.50. It’s a simple way for you to increase your contribution at no extra cost. Even if you think you are not a UK taxpayer, you may still be eligible if you pay tax through:

To Gift Aid your donation(s), we need your home address and postcode to confirm you are a current UK taxpayer.
By completing this declaration, you confirm the following:

I am a UK taxpayer and wish to treat all donations I make now, in the future, or have made in the past 4 years to Animal SOS Sri Lanka as Gift Aid donations.

I understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations in a tax year, I am responsible for paying any difference.

Please notify us in writing if you a) wish to cancel this Declaration, b) change your name or home address or c) no longer pay sufficient tax on your income and/or capital gains tax.
Additional Tax Relief for Higher Rate Taxpayers
If you pay Income Tax at the higher or additional rate, you can claim extra tax relief by:

Including all your Gift Aid donations in your Self-Assessment tax return.

Asking HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) to adjust your tax code.
